Americano
30 ml | CAMPARI |
30 ml | MARTINI ROSSO |
SODA (to taste) | |
ORANGE SLICE for garnish |
Pour Campari and Martini Rosso over cubed ice in a highball glass, stir then top with more ice. Add soda and garnish with a slice of orange. By the way, we often emphasize in our recipes to "garnish" the cocktail, because firstly, it adds flavor (for example, if we use citrus or mint, spices, etc.), and secondly, it is an aesthetic component, and thus better awakens the appetite, which you can read about in the top writing service.
The original Milano-Torino (named for the respective origins of the ingredients) is such a great, easy drinking highball that it begs to be enjoyed with good company in true aperitivo style. It’s also nice to experiment with different brands- just keep the bittersweet balance in check- and sip slowly. A lighter, longer cousin to the Negroni, it has a refreshing, adult bite that’s perfect on a sunny day.
